This is good news. Another bit of news concerns Johan Djourou who has been attracting interest from Italian club Napoli. It appears there's been contact between the club and JD's agent and a deal looks likely. Add that to the expected departure of French defender, Squillachi and Carlos Vela, the club can free up some money to invest on new transfers.
There's seems to be a change in Arsene's policy this summer. A more ruthless approach you might say. Cut the dross who are happy to sit on the bench and collect money and re-invest in new quality players.
One player who could be wearing the red and white of Arsenal next season is Stefan Jovetic of Fiorentina. Italian media reports his agent, Fali Ramadani is in London talking to Arsenal about the transfer of the striker. That would most likely mean Arsenal will definitely be selling RVP. Juventus seems to be his likely destination.
And the deal to bring M'Villa to Arsenal might still be on. It has gone eerily quiet in the past couple of weeks on that front. Bayern has pulled out and Rennes says they have not received a bid from any club for him. It all looks like the kind of deal Arsenal loves. Watch out, M'Vila could still end up at Arsenal.
That's all I have for you now, more later...
